Star Plus is on it's way to launch a new show " Diya Aur Baati Hum "This is a refreshing story about a man of modest education helping his very qualified wife to achieve her goals and dreams , braving ridicule from the society.The leads Sooraj and Sandhya are essayed by a new comer Deepika Singh and the very popular Anas Rashid.
Beginning tomorrow , the show promises to make the viewers sit up and take note that it's about time men support their wife in pursuing their goals and realising their potential without being tagged as "joru Ka gulam". Even today ,tradionally a woman is seen as a bride ,a wife, or a mother in the geographical parameters of her home . “Diya Aur Baati Hum” is another testimony of Star Plus carrying on the famous tag line “ Rishta wohi soch nayi “.

This show should never have replaced gulaal the acting in it is nowhere near the standard of gulaal especially neil and mansi
