Must Watch: Dussehra Celebrations on KBC!!

On this auspicious day of Dussehra, KBC too celebrates the victory of Good over Evil. Host and Legend, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan welcomes all the contestants in a dashing red attire. This special episode starts with a colorful depiction of Ramleela. 





Mr Sukhandhan Kolhapure, security guard from Kolhapur, is the first contestant tonight. He wants to support orphan kids. He plays a decent game and wins rupees 12 lacs 50 thousand.


Next on the hot seat is Mamta Vishwakarma, from Nainpur distt, M.P. She wants to take Johnny Lever to a National Park!! She reads a shayari for Mr. Bachchan and tells him that she wants to make a film on her life as she feels it’s very similar to that of Mother India's story!!


Don't miss out on the opportunity of hearing Amit ji, as he recites few lines from his father's poem 'jo beet gayi so baat gayi' for Rojalin to boost her spirit!!

Must Watch: Prayashchit: Gunaho Ke Zakhm!!

The upcoming episode of "Prayashchit, Gunahon Ke Zakhm" has Shivaji Salunkhe.

A simple small-town man Shivaji Salunkhe from Dhule, Maharashtra, burnt and killed his wife out of suspicion and in a moment of rage. 

In the darkest hour in jail, Shivaji reached a point where he was consumed by suicidal thoughts. He picked up a pen to vent his angst and pain, and poetry was born. His guilt and repentance made him a poet. He started exchanging soulful letters of hope and beauty with his daughter who was growing in an orphanage. His poetry reached other tormented souls, inspired them and gave some peace to Shivaji. His daughter grew into a beautiful person and a capable lawyer. Shivaji got released in 2010. 


Today he conducts a 14 minute anger management workshop with an idea that if one can control ones anger for those 14 minutes, one can avoid a life imprisonment of 14 years of shame and guilt.

Meet Daksh Ajit Singh , GAURAV of Maryada:Lekin Kab Tak!

The sensitive portrayal of GAY characters in popular TV soaps seems to be playing savior for many who are not out of the closet yet. Actor Daksh Ajit Singh, 30, who shot to fame for playing Gaurav, a gay character in Maryada ; Lekin Kab Tak, a Star Plus show, says “A gay fan of mine from Delhi recently wrote that his mother loves  the show , and its through this show that she understood the gay concept and finally stopped hounding him about getting married. Most importantly she has stopped pestering him about changing his ways.“

He further said, "I also get messages from several fans who look for suggestions on how to share their sexual orientation with their parents. They see their own lives reflected in Gaurav’s."

Speaking to Daksh and observing him from close quarters, we found him very humble and down to earth. He further went on to say that he gets indecent proposals too from his male fans regarding one night stand, but he very casually brushes them off. He does inform them that he is portraying a Gay character in reel life, but in no ways he is gay in real life. 

When asked how does he de-stress himself, he completely laughs it off by saying  that he never gets stressed out. In his free time one can see Daksh playing with his mobile, clicking pictures since he is fond of photography. He is also a brilliant writer, so some or the  other thought keeps pondering his mind. He also loves to paint. Basically he is a multi-talented personality with wide range of interests. He is not a party person and enjoys his privacy.

When asked about his on screen and off screen relation with Vidya and Karan 

(his gay partner in Maryada), this is what he had to say … "Vidya is a good actress and I get along well with her. Even though we don't hang around together nor do we speak much after our scenes, but somehow our on screen chemistry comes out very effectively and effortlessly. Even with Karan I’m very comfortable as it’s a character I’m playing so it gets easier from both sides."

The Creative Director and Script Writer Damini Kanwal was also very apprehensive as to how people would accept  and perceive Gaurav’s character. But the response has been  overwhelming which definitely goes on to show a mature audience .

Although there have been few gay characters previously, but most of them are there to add a little humour to the scenes. However, Maryada has broken the norms by bringing in a Gay, as Central character to the plot .

This transition from showing gay characters in a frivolous light to portraying them in a strong, serious role marks the beginning of a new era.

Fistful of Fascinating Facts: Raju Singh's Music Composition for Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon!

Having heard "Rabba Vey"... on Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, has left most of you pulsating for sure. You feel the emotions right through the screen, every time Arnav and Khushi feel a certain something for one another. This soul touching tune has been composed and sung by none other than Mr. Raju Singh, who has not only rendered the background score, but has also composed other songs on the show. Raju Singh has also composed the famous "Mahi vey" tune for Geet- Hui Sabse Parayi, and is also rendering music for Dharampatni on Imagine TV. Rangmunch team thought this was the best time to bring you the Man behind the voice.

On further quizzing Raju Singh about his various compositions on the show, he said "my favorite is the title song, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, which has been recently released." Rangmunch.TV has already shared the song and its lyrics with you.

Raju Singh also said, "unlike movies, the music of Television shows need to be like jingles, since they are played over and over again. People should not get bored of listening to it after a while. So we make sure it is catchy. We are infact working on other versions of Rabba vey at the moment."

So does the Music Director also watch the show in order to keep in mind the flavor of the music that needs to be played out? "Well, we do keep tabs on the shows and are thrilled at the moment since we have learnt that Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon has become No. 2 on the Channel. That is great news indeed." says Raju Singh.

Ek Hazaro Main Meri Behna Hai: First Day First Feel!

A sister is a friend, a confidante, a mother and a guiding force. A sister yells at you when you are wrong, she fights with you only to make up later doing something so nice, you turn around and think you couldn't have asked for a better companion. I know a lot of people, who are extremely close to their siblings, so much so that they are inseparable. A sister becomes a friend, when the world turns against you, a mother when you need care. Though, you are born off the same womb, sometimes you are so different, you wonder what binds you to one another? If someone else messes you would kill them, but your sister enjoys the right to even kill you. Or so you think.

If you relate to each of these emotions and have a sister you are extremely close to, I would recommend you to watch Ek Hazaro Main meri Behna Hai, the new show on Star Plus that started last evening. There is so much of warmth in the bond the sisters share, you cant help but shed tears. Their love and understanding towards each other make you wish you had a sister like them. At the same time, there is so much contrast between the two that you cant help but smile.

Manvi and Jeevika adore each other so much that they dont see a world beyond one another. Manvi the younger one is more bubbly and vivacious. She speaks her heart out. You see that this is the freedom she enjoys because her sister allows her to live her life that way. The sisters are almost inseparable. In about half an hour, you also learn Jeevika is in love with Dr.Manan (Abhinav Shukla), who is back on screen after his stint as Dev in Geet Hui Sabse Parayi. The silent love between the two is so adorable and endearing, you almost feel bad as soon as you seem them and realising that their story may not actually see the light of the day. But Manvi is not the one to give up. She readily takes up for her sister, even in front of her family when a rishta comes their way from a Khandaani family. Jeevika however being older and more balanced, understands the ways of the world as well as is obligated to her family that has brought the orphans up. She obviously doesn't want to let them down, especially after their Beeji (Anju Mahendroo) tells them how her son (the father) had let them down.

The last scene at the ghat is not only breath taking to watch, it also leaves you moist eyed. The love between the sisters is palpable. You also witness the wicked twist in fate where Manvi's diya goes off while Jeevika lights it up for her and both the sisters wish and pray for each other's well being.

With so much happening in one episode, there is loads of drama and an interesting story in store for the veiwers. We wish the entire team all the very best!

Well, there is definitely an interesting twist in the tale, or they wouldnt have had one man pitted against so many women? In the very first episode Shakti was asked to pick 4 people he wanted eliminated, while he was seen being sweet and nice towards Shradha Sharma. 

While the rest of the girls ganged up together and tried to get Nihita to share her equation with Charles, a moment or two with Laxmi, ensured empathy! Most people wanted Pooja Missra out of the house on the very first day ! We cant say the first episode was mind blowing, but yes, things surely are warming up at the Big Boss House!!!
